Prime Areas which we use first for all children, are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development Communication and Language Physical Development We concentrate on these areas when children first start with us, these are essential areas to develop for every child and need to be embedded before we move to the next four Specific Areas; Literacy Mathematics Understanding of the world Expressive Arts and Design All these areas are interconnected and work with each other to help each child grow and develop, we use the Development Matters Statements and Birth to 5 Matters to help guide us through the learning for all the children within our care.

We will work with parents to help complete these documents and will need consent to send them to schools and/or other professionals.
